An old myth claims that LED lights can’t charge photoluminescent products — but that’s absolutely not true.
Here’s a quick overview of recommended light sources:
🔸 Incandescent bulbs give poor results – they emit very little blue or UV light.
🔸 Fluorescent tubes work reasonably well, but are being phased out.
🔸 Cool white or blue LED lights (the higher the Kelvin, the better) provide the best charging performance – and therefore maximum visibility when it matters most.
